Peache to the touch, red or orange-red peaches with attractive white flesh, sometimes with red tones. The fruit has a delicate aroma, soft flesh, great juiciness and a sweet to very sweet taste, sometimes with refreshing notes that add complexity. In many European countries, it is a consumer favourite.
Origin Of Chinese origin, the Romans knew them as malum persicum, the Persian apple, and their cultivation spread rapidly around the Mediterranean, from where the Spanish and Portuguese introduced them to America.
Harvest From the beginning of May to mid-July.
