Healthy Philosophy

Healthy Fruit is a business group formed by a group of farmers withmore than 30 years dedicated to growing fruit trees in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.

Our company was born with the aim of producing, trading and offering a high-quality product direct from the farm to the consumer, following all the quality standards set out in the current regulations, reaching our customers with the greatest reliability and confidence (in order to reach a good understanding of production), handling and packaging, according to the demands of the market and our customers (always with an open dialogue and open opinions).

There have been several factors for our group to be constantly growing and creating trust and reliability among its clients. Factors that make Healthy Fruit a benchmark in the national and international market, since we always try to do things well, basing our success on relationships with people.

One of our concerns from minute one is to make current production techniques compatible with the maintenance of the environment. Some of the actions we carry out to achieve them are:

Healthy Fruit S.L. is aware of the importance of environmental conservation. For that reason, we decided to use, whenever possible, methods that do not use agrochemical products, such as sexual confusion or the use of current predators.

We are also in the process of adhering to ECOEMBES, which is a group of companies that recycles, with the aim of reusing all the cardboard and wood materials that we use during the production process.

Basically, what we intend is to use systems that require less use of machinery and chemical substances. In that way, we can avoid soil compaction, the consumption of fossil fuels and the contamination of groundwater.

Phytosanitary waste and fertilizers are managed by us, both those generated from our farms and those from our suppliers, through our SIGFITO collection centers, for subsequent recycling. Therefore, we contribute to a cleaner and less contaminated environment.

The firewood obtained from pruning our plantations is crushed until is made compost in the soil to serve as organic matter and shelter for the fauna of the area. In this way we avoid the indiscriminate burning of stubble, which results in atmospheric pollution, a direct cause of the greenhouse effect.

The objective of our company is to offer our farmers a competitive price that allows them to advance and modernize their facilities and, in turn, provide the consumer with a fresh, quality product straight from the field.
